Erica – Applied Psychology Coach

My journey into coaching, personal development, and spiritual growth began through my own life experience. What started as a personal exploration of understanding myself, how I think, feel, and navigate the world, gradually became something much deeper.

I came into coaching in my mid-twenties, and over time it became more than just a profession. It became the lens through which I understand people and what it really takes to create meaningful change through personal and spiritual development.

LifeHeal was born out of that journey, and out of the work my wife, Sam, and I did together. What began as a shared path of growth and self-discovery eventually became both a working partnership and a relationship. That experience shaped much of what we now offer through LifeHeal.

Alongside this, my own spiritual awakening led me to explore the connection between psychology, self-development, and something less tangible but equally important. My dissertation focused on how spiritual awakening influences self-actualisation in women, and that intersection continues to inform my work.

Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked across a wide range of coaching and wellbeing spaces, including leadership coaching, couples coaching, and supporting individuals navigating change, growth, and overcoming anxiety. Together, Sam and I have run retreats, workshops, and events, and built the LifeHeal University membership, creating spaces where people can step out of the noise and come back to themselves in a more honest and grounded way.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a diploma in CBT, Coaching and Mentoring, and I am due to begin an MSc in Coaching Psychology in September. I’m also a Reiki Master and have trained in a number of hands-on modalities. While I value these approaches, the mind has always been my main area of interest, how we think, how we make sense of things, and how that shapes our experience.

My work draws on a blend of coaching, psychology, and positive psychology, delivered in an intuitive and responsive way. I don’t follow rigid frameworks. Instead, I pay attention to what’s happening in the moment and adapt accordingly, as that’s often where the most meaningful work happens.

I tend to work with people who feel deeply. Empaths, deep thinkers, and those carrying a high level of responsibility, often without a space where they can fully process that.

Clients often describe the work as life changing. Not because of a single breakthrough moment, but because something shifts at a deeper level. There’s more clarity, more self-trust, and less second guessing.

My style is informal, direct, and supportive. I’ll meet you with compassion, but I won’t avoid what needs to be said. The work is honest, grounded, and focused on helping you understand yourself more clearly.

At the heart of everything I do is the belief that change doesn’t come from fixing yourself, but from understanding yourself. From there, things begin to shift more naturally.

Areas of Focus

My work combines coaching, psychology, positive psychology, and personal and spiritual development, supporting people who want to understand themselves more deeply and move through life with greater clarity and confidence.

Areas I work with include:

• Supporting empaths and deep thinkers
• Self-trust, overthinking, and decision-making
• Emotional regulation and self-understanding
• Personal and spiritual development
• Navigating change and life transitions
• Exploring spiritual awakening in a grounded way
 Couples coaching and relationship dynamics
Leadership coaching and supporting those in positions of responsibility
 Overcoming anxiety and building self-trust

Work With Me

Alongside my work within LifeHeal, I offer coaching and personal development programmes designed to support people through periods of growth, change, and deeper self-understanding.

This includes leadership coaching, couples coaching, and support for individuals navigating personal and spiritual development or working through challenges such as overcoming anxiety.

These spaces are less about rigid structure and more about creating the right conditions for honest exploration and meaningful progress. Drawing on coaching, psychology, positive psychology, and lived experience, I support clients to make sense of where they are, reconnect with themselves, and move forward with more clarity and confidence.

If you’d like to explore this further, you can also continue your journey within LifeHeal University, where ongoing support, resources, and community are available.
